I thought it would be helpful to create a resource page that bloggers can use to see the products and services that I use with my blog. The list will be continually evolving as I find different resources that are worth mentioning.

Bluehost – Bluehost was my hosting company from the very first day. They offer a slick and easy way to get up and running with your blog on WordPress. Bluehost has free domain name registration, is amazingly affordable, and is the perfect place to start. The whole hosting-domain-Wordpress-website-language-stuff can be kind of confusing at first. Check out the How to Start a Blog page if you want a step-by-step run down of how to start your own blog using Bluehost.
The Genesis Framework – The Genesis Framework is what is currently running on Superfoods Today. Genesis is the framework used by some of the web’s most popular bloggers, like Darren Rowse of and Chris Brogan of . With Genesis, you’re going to want to purchase the Framework ($59.95) along with a child theme (prices vary).
Before we switched to Superfoods we had bread maker and juicer on our contertop. But we dumped them for Blender and Yogurt Maker. I prefer to keep my fibers and that is the main reason for switching from juicer to blender. And my family doesn’t eat breads anymore, so no need for bread maker. Here are my favourite kitchen tools:
Yogurt Maker – Euro Cuisine YM80 Yogurt Maker is the one I’m using. It’s cheap, has glass jars, it’s BPA free and does the job very well. I prefer to eat non-processed dairy and home made yougurt is the way to go . It’s not automatic however, so if you want something like that, go for Automatic Digital Yogurt Maker. In order to make yogurt at home, you’d need a yogurt starter.
Cheese Maker – Another non-processed Superfoods dairy tool!! Go with the cheapest one, it makes yogurt cheese. I use Cuisipro Donvier Yogurt Cheese Maker and it does the job perfectly.
Blender – I have bought a 50$ blender at the beginning, but my Superfoods Smoothies are really tough sometimes and it simply didn’t worked out. Since I’m using it for smoothies, hummus, pesto and nut butters, I needed a stronger machine and we settled for Vitamix 5200 Series Blender. It’s expensive, but we don’t have many kitchen tools anyway and most of the others are cheap, so we decided to splurge on this one. It’s money very well spent, it’s sturdy and hopefully it will serve us for years. Truly a Superfoods essential tool.
Food Processor – We use Hamilton Beach Food Processor , it’s cheap, it cuts cabbage and other veggies and we have zero issues with it so far.
Mandoline Slicer – We use cheap mandoline slicer with a guard. It’s essential for cucumbers, carrots and other veggies.
Slice Knife – Since Superfoods Lifestyle includes lots of veggies, I do lots of chopping. Invest in a good swiss made chef’s knife with a lifetime guarantee and you’ll be happy for years.
